Om Gan Ganapatay Namo Namah!
Ganesh chaturthi was auspiciously celebrated in ABS global smart school,JN road, Thiruvallur on 15th September,2023. To mark the auspicious birthday of the beloved elephant-headed Lord Ganesha ,The whole stage was decorated colorfully, Children of Grade I,II,and III enthusiastically participated in the event by bringing modhakas, sundal , sweet pongal, rice flour dumplings,fruits and flowers. The songs of Ganesha which were sung around made everyone's mind calm and composed . Our beloved secretary Dr. Sakthi Balasundaram graced the auspicious occasion by making his presence to the function.
The function began at 9.30 am by lighting the lamp and all the children were gathered around the place which made the place look even more beautiful with enthralling colors. Children wore the face masks of Ganesha and dressed up traditionally .The Ganesh chaturthi Pooja was done by our beloved secretary sir followed by our Vice principal mam and other teachers and non teaching staff . The event was made memorable by the school choir students who sang bhajans for Lord Ganesha, It was so peaceful and sweet to hear their beautiful songs. Followed by that Nandhana of GradeVIII shared the significance of the festival with the students and enlightened everyone about the importance of Ganesh chaturthi. Then, Students of grade II wearing beautiful masks of Lord Ganesha danced to Gananaya song gracefully, followed by them, a skit was played on telling the story of Ganesha's wisdom .
Children beautifully enacted the characters of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati,Lord Ganesha and Lord Muruga along with Narad muni. The performance made everyone awestruck.The whole atmosphere was filled with divinity and tradition. Thus the festival was celebrated with hope and prosperity.
